Individual Therapy

Therapy With Me

Therapy with me is real, down-to-earth, affirming, and judgment-free. You don't need to know exactly what to say, use the “right” clinical language, or have everything figured out. Come as you are, and we'll start there.

I'm a 44-year-old Latina, firstborn daughter raised by a single immigrant mother, and a mom of two neurodivergent children. My own experiences have given me a personal understanding of family, culture, caregiving, advocacy, and what it's like to navigate systems that aren't always easy to navigate.

My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming and neurodiversity affirming. I have experience working with children and adults around ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, anger management, substance use, child welfare, and involvement with the legal system.

I also recognize that mental and physical health often overlap.  I'm comfortable supporting concerns related to women's health and life transitions, including postpartum adjustment and perimenopause, as well as the emotional impact of chronic illness, physical disabilities, body image, and eating-related concerns.

I also work with individuals and families experiencing certain immigration-related stressors.  Please visit my Immigration Issues section to learn more about the specific support I provide.

Most importantly, you don't have to perform in therapy with me. We can talk, laugh, question things, challenge patterns, have uncomfortable conversations, and work toward meaningful change.

Therapy doesn't have to feel clinical to be meaningful. It can feel human.

Let’s talk

BEFORE YOU ASK — KEEP YOURSELF SAFE 💯

Teen Talk with Auntie Sai is a PUBLIC space.

Teen Talk is for general education, conversation, and support. It is not therapy, and submitting a question does not create a therapist-client relationship.

Please protect your privacy. Don't include your full name, address, school, phone number, social media handles, exact location, or other information that could identify you or someone else.

Because questions may appear on a public website or social media, do not submit anything you would need to remain private or confidential. Publicly posted information may be viewed, copied, screenshotted, shared, preserved, or potentially accessed or used by others, including law enforcement.

A NOTE ABOUT SAFETY

Auntie Sai is a licensed mental health professional and mandated reporter and must follow applicable reporting laws.

If information submitted suggests that a child may be experiencing abuse or neglect, or reveals another situation that creates a legal duty to report, information may need to be reported to the appropriate authorities.

Do not use Teen Talk to report an emergency, abuse, a crime, or an immediate safety concern. This page is not monitored as an emergency or crisis service.

KEEP IT 100 — WITHOUT GIVING UP YOUR PRIVACY.

Ask about the situation, not identifying details.

Instead of:

“My name is ___, I go to ___ High School, and my stepfather ___ did…”

Try:

“What should a teen do if they don't feel safe with an adult at home?”

You can ask the real question without telling the internet exactly who you are.

Real Questions. Real Takes. Zero Fluff. Safety First.
